Session Guidelines
The Industry Roundtable event is a unique and exciting opportunity to meet with buyers and distributors from around the world!
The WSFF Symposium Staff has put together a few guidelines to ensure that everyone can make the most of this session:
- Upon arrival, please go to the Roundtable registration desk and get your table assignment from the Symposium staff. Please go directly to your table. You will start your session here, but you’ll have a chance to meet all of the participating buyers and distributors over the course of the afternoon.
- There will be two industry hosts at each table, and space for four to six participants. You will have ten minutes at each table – make the most of it! We’ll let everyone know when it’s time to change seats.
- Make sure to introduce yourself, and have your elevator pitch ready! But please remember that everyone is there for the same reason, so don’t monopolize time with any one buyer or distributor. Each buyer and distributor invited to this session has a wealth of experience and advice that they are graciously willing to share. Make sure you give them the opportunity - you never know what you may find out!
- Think of this session as the start of your relationship with attending industry from around the world – don’t expect to make a deal at the table, but collect business cards (and bring plenty of your own to give out) to keep your conversation going.
*Info sheets outlining participating buyers and distributors and their affiliations will be provided upon entry.
