I did not write the script, but I am the director/producer
of the film, can I still enter the contest?

consent from the screenplay author. Likewise, if you are

to option, please provide written consent from the author.
Can I enter more than one script?
No, the contest mandates one script per person,
regardless of the number of seminar tickets purchased.
Can I enter the same script more than once?
Please do not.
I am planning on registering for a Symposium seminar,
can I enter my script first and register later?
No, in order to qualify for the contest, you must be registered
for at least one Symposium seminar (not including Inti-Meets),
and your Festival Order ID Number must be included
in your application.
How can I buy tickets for Symposium seminars?

Technically no, although the services of the Screenplay Giveaway
prize are only valid in Canada and are non-transferable, thus
applicants must be legal residents of the country.
I am a selected filmmaker for this
year’s festival,
and my pass allows me access to Symposium for free, can I still
enter the contest?

we ask that you purchase a seminar ticket. This is a means
of covering basic administrative costs incurred by the contest.

a seminar ticket?
